Suzanne M. Saia

Suzanne M. Saia is a partner in the firm. She has substantial experience in complex insurance matters and focuses her practice on representing insurance agents and brokers, and their insureds, in complex insurance coverage litigation, insurance coverage, miscellaneous professional liability and insurance agency, brokerage corporate representation, Labor Law actions and property damage cases. She is an aggressive litigator who has litigated a number of insurance matters for insurance agents and brokers and has successfully achieved over a dozen pre-trial discontinuances for her clients at risk of facing high exposure.

Ms. Saia began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx, New York District Attorney's Office and has tried over a dozen criminal cases resulting in guilty verdicts.

She is a member of the New York State Bar Associations Trial Lawyers, Torts, Insurance and Compensation Law Sections and the New York Women’s Bar Association. Ms. Saia earned her J.D. degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2000. She is an active alumnus who annually participates in judging the American Bar Association Mock Trial Criminal Advocacy Competition for the Quinnipiac University School of law Mock Trial Honor Society. QU hosts the ABA Mock Trial Criminal Advocacy Competition for a host of student competitors from prominent schools such as Brooklyn Law School, Catholic University, Fordham University, Georgetown University, Hofstra University, New York University, Pace University and St. Johns University.

Ms. Saia is admitted to practice before all courts of the State of New York and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
